The GENERATION website is managed and maintained by the National Galleries of Scotland.
What personal data do we collect?
We collect aggregate information site-wide, including anonymous site statistics. We also log domain names and/or Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. You will be asked for personal data such as your name, address and e-mail address when you join as an eBulletin member or make an enquiry.
We use 're-direct' tracking and also invisible gif images in order to monitor general interactions such as 'click-throughs' and message open rates for our eBulletin.
How do we use your personal data?
Where appropriate, we use your personal data:
- to provide goods and services to you or your organisation;
- to tailor your web experience; for basic profiling purposes;
- to let you know about other goods and services in which you may be interested
- to inform you about changes and improvements to this website.
If you register to receive our eBulletin you will receive e-mail communications alerting you to news and offers. We do not send such messages without permission. You have the option not to receive these.

Feedback and comments provided by visitors for publishing to generationartscotland.org or other sites administered by National Galleries of Scotland (e.g. weblogs, image and/or video sharing websites, etc.) will be checked by National Galleries of Scotland moderators. Such feedback and comments may be published in full, or in edited form.
While it is not our intention to limit the sender's freedom of expression, comments which are likely to cause significant offence to other users may either be published to the website in an edited form, or excluded from publication altogether.
Comments published to nationalgalleries.org and other National Galleries of Scotland administered sites do not necessarily reflect the attitudes of the National Galleries of Scotland, whether the comments are published in edited or unedited form.
We reserve the right to reuse comments in relation to National Galleries of Scotland activities. Comments will not be passed on by National Galleries of Scotland to third parties for any other use.
