This exhibition brings together important examples of paintings and drawings by Glasgow-based artist Louise Hopkins (b.1965). In particular, the exhibition includes works Hopkins has made using found surfaces such as furnishing fabrics, maps and song sheets that address ideas about representation through processes of mark-making. Bringing together works held in public and private collections in Scotland and elsewhere, the exhibition will be an opportunity for audiences to explore the breadth of Hopkins's approach to making paintings and drawings.
