Working mainly with video and photography, Corin Sworn creates installations that look at how objects and images convey stories and histories. She was the recent winner of the Max Mara Art Prize for Women (2013-15) and one of the three artists representing Scotland at last year's Venice Biennale.
This exhibition features new work, including hand dyed silks and a series of digitally manipulated photographs which have been developed from visits to the Royal Botanic Garden's Herbarium to study plants used in natural dyeing processes. The exhibition will also feature the first showing in Scotland of Sworn's film installation The Rag Papers (2013), first exhibited at Chisenhale Gallery London, last year.
Exhibition supported by Creative Scotland and The Henry Moore Foundation
