Curator and researcher Gráinne Rice will talk about Steven Campbell’s landmark exhibition from 1990. Campbell’s installation was first shown at the Third Eye Centre (now CCA) in Glasgow as part of the European Year of Culture in the city before it toured the UK; the exhibition has been re-created for GENERATION for the first time in more than twenty years. The talk will look at the imagery in Campbell’s paintings and consider his lasting impact on Scottish art in the last 25 years.
